My granddaughter, Alexa got me back into sewing when she asked for help with a zipper she was hand sewing on a kindle case she was making. I was blown away at what she had attempted by hand. I made her one and then told her I had a Janome to give her if she was interested in learning to sew. Since then, I have made 3 more cases pictured in the collage and taken an interest in recycling denim.
